A bit of Christmas Cheer

Okay, so its slightly late this one - but I was REALLY busy before Christmas (like I am not now??)

My son, who's ten (okay, nearly 11) plays clarinet and he performed a solo in the Christmas Carol concert at school.

I think he was incredibly brave to do it, I know it's something I couldn't do - heck, I can't even get a decent note out of the clarinet or read music, never mind stand up in front of an audience and play it all by myself.

I am so very proud of him, so I wanted to share the moment:

Fabulous, these moments usually make me cry. Mine is 11 and she sang at the Royal Albert Hall In June 2008 with the school choir and I cried with pride and joy when they started. Those moments never leave you. Have a very Happy 2009!!
